Board of the Netherlands Epidemiological Society

The Netherlands Epidemiological Society has a board of maximum 13 members, of whom an Executive Committee is chosen. The Executive Committee exists of the president (in office for a period of two years), the secretary, the treasurer and either the president-elect (in the last year of the current presidency) or the past president (in the first year of the current presidency).

Every five years a policy document is written by the board. Each year a plan of action is drawn up based on the policy document and the board reports on its activities at the Annual General Meeting.

The board is assisted by the Strategic Explorations Committee that establishes working groups to prepare specific policy changes or evaluations for the Society.
