European Young Epidemiologists

EYE is a virtual platform for contacts and the exchange of ideas for young epidemiologists. EYE originates from an initiative of three Portuguese PhD students after the European Congress of Epidemiology 2004 in Porto. At the moment EYE has more than 200 members from 25 countries.

Who can be a member of EYE?

Any European epidemiologist who is doing an MSc/MA or PhD.

What are the goals of EYE?

The main goal of EYE is to have a network of contacts between young investigators in Europe. The first step has been the website http://higiene.med.up.pt/eye, where you can find more information about EYE. Longer term goals may be international studies, collaborative efforts for funding, and the organisation of small conferences.
