Call for abstracts – Deadline 12AM CET September 1st
Climate change, increased human population, environmental pollution, and emerging infectious diseases force the society to rethink farming methods. The advent of sensors, robotics and big data in farming allows us to face these challenges. During the morning of the 32nd VEEC symposium various keynote speakers will discuss with us precision farming in uncertain times.
· Morning program: Keynote presentations on “Precision farming in uncertain times: Application in practice”
· Afternoon program: selected oral presentations on recent research topics regarding veterinary epidemiology & economics
· ALV – annual general VEEC meeting
· Reception and networking
Young and senior researchers interested in presenting their research during the afternoon program are invited to submit an abstract. Abstracts should be submitted using the attached abstract template before September 1st 12AM CET to firstname.lastname@example.org
Online registration will start in September and will be announced. Please forward this announcement to those you think might be interested in presenting their work at the symposium.
*As we are living in uncertain times, the symposium can change to a virtual meeting room if necessary. The date will remain October 15th .
