Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic epidemiologist to strengthen our team that works on surveillance and research of STIs (sexually transmitted diseases, such as HIV, chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, hepatitis, HPV) in the Netherlands. The work focuses on maintaining and analyzing STI surveillance data and PrEP data from the sexual health centers (SOAP), liaising with sexual health centers regarding SOAP and facilitating data requests and modifications to the registration system.
Job requirements
- You have a master’s degree in epidemiology
- You have experience analyzing complex data files with statistical programs.
- You have affinity with public health and preferably experience in infectious disease epidemiology
- You can work independently, show initiative and are decisive.
- You have good communication skills in word and writing, also in English.
- You are flexible in working on multiple projects.
- You like to work in a team.
Terms of employment
Salary level: scale 10
Monthly salary: Min €2.756 – Max. €4,430 (gross)
Employment contract: Employment contract for a fixed period with a view to an indefinite period
Contract duration: 18 months
Maximum number of hours per week: 32
