The course offers an excellent introduction to these \u2018omic\u2019 topics and gives the opportunity to analyse example datasets.<\/p>\n<p>The course targets a wide-range of participants, including students, epidemiologists, clinicians and molecular biologists with little background in genetic epidemiology. Participants are introduced to the basic principles of protein and metabolite profiling and association analyses at population level. The relevant background of genetic epidemiology and statistics is presented.<\/p>\n<p>The course consists of two parts: theoretical lectures and practical assignments.
