The working group Junior Epidemiologists of the Netherlands Society for Epidemiology (Vereniging voor Epidemiologie, VvE) organizes activities for young epidemiologists to promote research and training. In addition, the workgroup aims to strengthen the ties with and within the VvE.

Are you a young, enthusiastic epidemiologist (master student, PhD student, researcher, postdoc) and do you want to contribute your ideas and actively take part in the organization of activities for junior epidemiologists? Then we invite you to respond to this posting!

We strive to appeal to all young epidemiologists, both inside and outside academia. This is why we also encourage epidemiologists working outside academia to respond.

The workgroup organizes three activities every year and we meet about six times a year (partly online and partly in person, planned around an event)

If you’re interested, please send your motivation letter with your CV before 1 March 2022 to the secretariat of the Dutch Society for Epidemiology  (secretariaat@epidemiologie.nl). If you have any questions about this posting, do not hesitate to get in touch. We look forward to receiving your application!
