VvE Student Award 2022

The Board of the Netherlands Society for Epidemiology is pleased to award the VvE Student Award 2022 to:

Claartje Meijs

With the abstract: “Identifying Distinct Clinical Subgroups in Heart Failure with Mildly Reduced Ejection Fraction using clustering“.

The jury, consisting of Dr. Tessel Galesloot of Radboudumc Nijmegen, Dr. Famke Mölenberg of Erasmus MC Rotterdam and Dr. Lena Sialino from Amsterdam UMC awarded the Student Award to Claartje as her presentation was very clear, visually appealing and she presented in a very cachy and calm way. During the discussion, Claartje was challenged with critical questions that she was able to answer well, showing that she masters the project well.

The VvE Student Award was awarded on June 10, 2022 during the annual epidemiological conference (WEON), organized by Radboudumc Nijmegen.
