Characteristics teaching programme:
This specialization is embedded in the Nutrition and Health master's degree. The Nutritional and Public Health Epidemiology specialization focuses on the design, conduct, analysis and interpretation of epidemiological research, both interventional and observational. It focuses on the etiology and prevention of disease, with specific reference to diet, nutrition and lifestyle. Central issues are assessment of exposure, risk factors of disease, intermediate stages of health, and analysis and interpretation of key research designs.
