Implementation science is the study of methods and strategies that facilitate the uptake of evidence-based research findings in healthcare settings. Within this emerging field it is crucial that professionals from medicine, nursing, psychology, pharmacy, and engineering collaborate.
In this course you will learn the theory, operational and evaluation approaches of implementation science and how to apply implementation strategies in practice.
The course includes lectures from guest speakers, best-practice case examples, and interactive sessions in which participants prepare a proposal for an implementation (research) project. The proposals will be presented on the last day.
