The Child and Growth Foundation (SKG-LRG) is a national foundation which is responsible for the assessment of requests for growth hormone (GH) treatment in children with a severe growth disorder and for the national registration database with the medical data of GH-treated children (National Registration GH treatment children/LRG). The foundation also provides advice on growth disorders and GH treatment to doctors, other health care providers and to parents of children with growth disorders. The foundation is located at Westzeedijk 106, 3016 AH Rotterdam.

Work
The data manager, together with the LRG coordinator, is responsible for the management of the database. Together with the LRG coordinator, you will ensure the quality of the database: an up-to-date and complete LRG database with correct data. You coordinate the development of the digital import of data into the database. Together with the LRG coordinator, you will be responsible for exporting data from the database for research or answering questions from the profession.
The tasks also include contributing to scientific research in the field of growth disorders and GH treatment, in particular on the basis of the LRG database.

Job requirements
Completed education at HBO level and experience in the field of data management. Good medical content knowledge. Knowledge of and experience with various EHRs and potential database linkage opportunities with hospital EHRs. Knowledge in the field of paediatrics would be an advantage.
You can work both in a team and independently, you have a keen sense of investigation and are extremely accurate. You have knowledge of SQL, Access and SPSS.
You have excellent writing and communication skills.
Minimum 3 years relevant work experience.

Terms of employment
You will be appointed for 24 hours. The gross monthly salary, depending on education and experience, amounts to a maximum of € 3712.00 (scale 8), with a full working week.
Contract duration: 12 months, with a view to permanent employment, subject to assessment of suitability.
